The triumvirate that makes up the forces of Law and Order include the Military Supernatural Defense Unit (special forces of U.S. Army), the Paranormal Activity Division (police), and the Order of Merciful Aid, which has a strange semi-official status (refer to the Order’s page and the introduction Ilona wrote on it).

Technically a part of the Paranormal Activity Division, or PAD, Biohazard has its own headquarters and chain of command. (p17)
A volunteer unit that deals with loose vampires. Their standard procedure is to seal off the area where the vampire is and not let even paramedics through until the situation is dealt with. They tend to shoot first and sort the bodies later. It is a bad idea to turn a necromancer over to this unit. (p14, 17, and 19)
